Fun first post for me lol. With the Red Sox having one of the worst Julys in recent memory, the team has begun dealing some of their veteran players with expiring contracts. Seemingly the first to go is JD Martinez and it’s to the NY Mets. The Mets had been in talks with the Nationals to see what the price for Soto would be. However, the price for Soto coupled with the Nationals not wanting to trade within their division it seemed to fade away.
