We are back with an update for www.statsoldier.com!
For those of you new here- and there are a lot- Stat Soldier is the website that my friend and I created last summer. Over the last 12 months, we have continued to update it for our users. Seriously, you can do anything you want, so go check it out.
Here are some of the new updates we have on the website. if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out!
ALERT SYSTEM
A number of people were asking for this. It took a little while to perfect, but you can now ask it pretty much anything. Right now, I have an alert for any time a player strikes out four times in a game (a golden sombrero).
Whatever email you use for your Stat Soldier account, it will automatically send you the alert to that address.
We expect some pretty weird requests.
SERIES REVIEWS
For those of you who know my blogs, you know I love my Red Sox series reviews. I took a break, but I'll be returning this week. I'll explain why I stopped for the last few weeks. (Twitter trolls)
You bet your behind I will have our new series review graphics as well. For every series, you can check out the team score for each game and the top three performers. We are working on the graphic itself, so it will look a little different the next time you see it!
UPDATED SOLDIER SCORES
I highlighted this in its own blog, but our new Soldier Scores are greatly improved. Honestly, they barely worked before we revamped them a few weeks ago.
Click here to read about what goes into each score. It is very leverage-based, and I love it.
NFL PREDICTIONS AND STATS
I have been asked why our website doesn’t have a baseball-related name. Well, the plan was never to be just baseball. That time has come. Everything you can do on the baseball side can now be found on the NFL side. Predictions, games, cards, stats, etc.

I don’t really gamble, but even I have to admit this is pretty cool. Scott was even able to make a special “Soldier Score Line,” which is a combination of all
Saying that this is simply “gambling lines” would be a massive understatement. There is so much more you can do with this data that we will be releasing a separate blog next week diving into it all.

Shortcuts for Who’s Hot, Matchups, Storylines
On every game page, you can now not only type anything into the search bar about the players in the game, but also get shortcuts to all the hot and cold players, storylines, and matchup data.
If you are a fantasy guy, this is a good place to look at your players and pitching matchups.
My favorite part, though, is the “storylines.” Every game page will fire off five different storylines for you. Some of them are just boring roster updates, but many highlight playoff races, statistical achievements, and much more.
