Editor's Note: This is a live document; we'll add one player every day for 100 days. The stats you see are from the 2026 season, but I'll reference career Minor League stats when needed.

I’m not really a prospect guy. But when the Red Sox got eliminated, I suddenly had a lot more time on my hands. And this might be an unpopular opinion, but the ALCS and NLCS were kind of a snooze fest.
Sorry, Will.
So I started diving into our offseason planning here at The Skippers View. One thing I’ve wanted to do for a long time is make our own Top 100 prospect list. It always felt daunting, until I had my little team of agents. If you’re anti-AI, I guess this is where you walk away. If you follow me, you know I built three teams of agents to help with work, life, and The Skippers View.
I pitched the Top 100 idea to one of them, the one whose job is SEO and figuring out what actually gets clicks. His name is Ace, but that isn’t important.
He suggested publishing one blog post and adding a player every day for 100 days, with a daily social post pointing back here. No clue if it’ll work. But I really wanted an excuse for more Tai Peete propaganda, so here we go.
Starting at No. 100: Tai Peete.
#100 Tai Peete, OF, Cardinals
St. Louis Cardinals | OF | Age 21 | Highest 2026 level AA
Pipeline NR | Baseball America NR
Rookie FCL — 3 G, 12 PA; .000/.167/.000; 0 HR, 1 SB; BB 16.7%, K 33.3%.
A+ — 42 G, 200 PA; .300/.370/.611; 10 HR, 11 SB; BB 10.0%, K 28.5%.
AA — 21 G, 100 PA; .319/.360/.489; 3 HR, 4 SB; BB 6.0%, K 23.0%.
As I said in the blog intro, I wanted some more Tai Peete propaganda, so this felt like the best place to put him. Let me be clear: I think he is HIGHER than 100. His performance in the Arizona Fall League is bringing more eyes to him, and I love it.
Does me owning a “PSA 10 Bowman 1st Gold Autograph” blind me to his flaws? Of course.
He strikes out a ton, is stealing fewer bases, and has regressed from a power standpoint
But I am going to sneak him in here because his power-speed upside is starting to show up in games again, with a .981 OPS at High-A and a productive first look at Double-A. He has also lowered his strikeout rate but still struggles to walk consistently.
Standout from 2026: 10 HR and 11 SB in 42 High-A games, then a .319/.360/.489 line with a 23.0% strikeout rate in 100 Double-A PA.
What to Watch in 2027: Whether he can find some of the power he showed early on.
Injury Background: A concussion interrupted his 2026 season. He also returned from a late-season stint on the injured list on September 9. He is still young with a small frame, so here’s to hoping he bulks up a little.
