The Skippers View 2023 Plan

I'm not too fond of the idea of New Year's resolutions. They are lame, and rarely does anyone follow through with them and stick to their plan. Here at The Skippers View, we held our first meeting to consider what we want to do this year. Here are some boring analytics I will run through quickly to give you an idea of where we are and where we want to be at the end of the 2023 season.

2022- 1700

2023 Goal- 10,000

2022- 2900(mostly read from tweet links)

2023 Goal- 15,000

Twitter Impressions

2022- 1,227,000

2023 Goal- 5,000,000

Our last and final goal is to add writers to the team. One of the best parts about baseball Twitter is finding fans who are more invested in the sport and their favorite team than the reporters and social media "personalities" who are given considerable platforms to give their take. There are a few problems with this. 1. I will always side with the person who does deep research simply for fun and their own interest. 2. Many of these online personalities, especially those with podcasts, are put in a box in many aspects about what they can say. If they aren't too careful about what they say, there is a good chance they can kiss any good podcast guests goodbye.
