I didn’t want to do this. I wanted to spend my Friday relaxing, watching some baseball, defeating the Elite Four in Pokémon: FireRed, and taking a midday nap.
But no. The gremlins had to come out on Twitter today and bother me.
This morning, while sitting in the bathroom, I started wondering how Anthony Eyanson was doing in Baltimore’s system. A simple thought for a simple man. I saw he was doing pretty well, so I decided to tweet about it. Apparently, where I went wrong was including other players involved in the trade. Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.
Immediately, Red Sox fans started jumping down my throat because the post was “ill-timed.” Guys, I liked the trade. I am a fan of Adley, and I am a defender of Craig Breslow. I can hold all three of those positions and still post current stats of the players involved in the trade.
You can, however, follow the players. That seems like a fairly reasonable thing for baseball fans to do.
