Had a bachelor party this weekend, so I was thankful when last nights game got delayed. Some people like to spend their Sunday afternoons watching eight hours of uninterrupted NFL football. Not me! I like to watch eight hours of uninterrupted of Red Sox vs Twins baseball!(not actually)

Overall Takeaway

Game 1- Twins 4-2

Game 2- Red Sox 8-1

Game 3- Red Sox 9-3

What I Loved

• Triston Casas Three Home Runs In Game 2

  • Please put the camera on me as I say this. I DON'T HATE TRISTON CASAS, AND I HAVE NO DESIRE TO SEE HIM FAIL.

  • Contrary to popular belief, I will celebrate Casas when he succeeds. Last review, he was in the “Didn’t love section,” and I stand by that. I get frustrated with how he acts to the media, on the field, etc.

• Rafael Devers Hitting The IL

  • I have been saying to do this for a month. Frankly, I am just glad that it is over. I understand, and appreciate, Cora wanting to keep injuries close to the chest when it comes to the team. The issue with this one was everyone and their mother knew Devers wasn’t right.

• Red Sox Opening Wild Card For Tigers

  • I have been very open about my hatred for the Twins. I don’t think they have any likable players on their team. The Tigers, on the other hand, do.

  • You’re welcome Detroit.

• Kutter Crawford

  • If Jarren Duran is the team MVP this season, I think Crawford should be the #2. Hot take, I know. But he has grinded this year out despite his terrible HR numbers lol. You can obviously argue that Houck had the better year, but Crawford was consistently “solid.”

What I Was "Mid" About

• Losing In Extras Again

  • I only put it in the mid because I thought the Red Sox were getting destroyed in extra innings games this year. However, according to StatsMuse, they have a 9-7 record. What a pleasant surprise!

• Nick Pivetta

  • It’s time to move on. His control is shaky, and it is stressful to watch him pitch.

What I Didn't Love

• Not Playing For Playoff Baseball

  • I am happy that the chase lasted as long as it did. However, now that the team is out of it, it is tough to watch some of these games. Especially against the Twins YUCK.
