Overall Takeaway
As I write this, the Red Sox are in the first inning of Game 3 against the Giants. They could lose this game 100-0 and it wouldn’t change my mind that this team might be legit. Here are some stats for you.

What I Loved
Wilyer Abreu
Last seven games he is batting .385 with a .991 OPS. In the process he has raised is season WAR to 1.5. This is now double what he accumulated in 2023…. He is hot.
Starting Pitchers… Again
Crawford going seven innings is insane and was the longest outing of his career, but Cooper Criswell continuing to shine out of nowhere is a blessing. Can not wait until Bello and Pivetta return.
Connor Wong… Again
Best catcher in the American League behind Salvador Perez. Here are some stats for you.

He extended his hitting streak to eight games today! Still batting under .200 though.

Defense
Only one error this series. Slow improvements. Front Office knows defense is a major issue which is why we saw Short get signed and Valdez get the demotion. Can’t ignore the negative Dwar that Valdez had.
Jarren Duran’s Streaky Play
He is either Ty Cobb or John Gochnaur (look him up)
Needs to be more consistent to get back in the love category.
What I Didn't Love
NOTHING. Except Bobby Dalbec still being on this team and the Sox losing Thursday.
Oh, I also hate that Yoshida might need surgery. Okay, bye!
