What I Loved
Nothing
What I Was "Mid" About
Connor Wong
Wong is batting under .200 the last 15 games. I don’t want to throw him into the not loved section yet, but we are slowly getting there.
Tyler O’Neill Returning
I will bump him back to Love once he does something. Hopefully his fingers are feeling better.
Triston Casas
Able to go 2-4 on Friday. Then, it follows up with 0-4 with 4 ks on Saturday. Then follows it up with a massive home run.
Kutter Crawford
I know records don’t matter, but he is now 8-11. He is going to be wayyyyy over his career high innings, so I don’t know what the next month will bring.
What I Didn't Love
Rafael Devers
He was batting .216 with 0 home runs entering Sunday’s game. The last time he was in a home run slump, I put him in this category. Let’s hope it helps him.
I am writing this section on Saturday night, so if he hits a homer Sunday, you’re welcome
hehehehe #200 for Devers
Just a note: I don’t love all the posts about him being the first Red Sox to hit 200 home runs before 28. Give Ted Williams some love.
Brayan Bello (Although I would have taken him out after the 5th)
He imploded in the 6th inning, something that has happened to him frequently this year. He just can’t stop walking people. Something that will need to be fixed over the offseason I am sure.
The Offense
3 runs over the first two games. Gallen is great, but Ryne Nelson shouldn’t be able to hold this offense to two runs. It's not like it would have mattered in that blowout, but still. Once the Diamondbacks came back on Sunday, the team had no response.
