For those of you who have been following, I have been trying to complete a 162-0 challenge in MLB The Show for a few months now. I am proud to announce that the regular season is complete, and I am moving on to the postseason. Once I reach the World Series, I will be forced to make every player on the opposing team a 99 overall. I expect this to be my downfall, but time will tell. Right now, I am just riding the high of finishing the regular season perfect.
The photos below don’t give the complete picture as to everyone’s stats, so I added the award winners and league leaders below. For me, Roman Anthony was far and away the MVP. He had 106 SB, 60 doubles, and 61 home runs. He led the league in WAR, OPS, Slugging, RBIs, and also batted .365. He came away with the Hank Aaron Award, GG, and SS, but I still think Bello robbed him.
Now, Bello was great, don’t get me wrong. He set the single-season strikeout record with 394 and honestly could have thrown 450 if I didn’t put him on an innings limit. I just don’t think he was as big a game-changer as Roman Anthony.
Whatever, World Series here I come.
