We are now at the halfway point of the MLB season, and it's been, well, an interesting year. A lot of big names are hurt, a lot of big names are playing poorly, and the American League resembles trench warfare from The Great War.
But for every team, there is at least one hitter who has been a disappointment. So, I went through all 30 teams and picked a player for each.
I’m not going to lie, some of the teams were pretty difficult to choose. Take teams like the Nationals and Marlins. They are overachieving offensively in a big way. If this list included pitchers, it would probably be easier. But I was not committed halfway through, so I stayed the course.
