About Me
My name is Sam Fosberg! I am the creator of the Twitter page @DiscussBaseball and am very excited to start contributing to The Skipper’s View. I’m a 21-year-old college student at St. Lawrence University and am expecting to graduate in 2025. I’m also a member of the baseball team at SLU, where I pitch out of the bullpen. I’ve been consistently talking/writing about baseball since the 2020 shortened MLB season, and aspire to one day be a Division I baseball writer.
On DiscussBaseball, I mainly post about MLB, but occasionally throw in college content too. My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox, yet I consider myself a baseball fan first.
I love everything about the game. Whether it’s trade talks, free agency buzz, a standout performance, or a brutal one, I love to cover it all. Every single club. All 30. I am incredibly excited to get to work and hope to learn a lot. Thank you to Brett and Dean for this wonderful opportunity.
