How e can we justify Trout higher than Speaker? The injuries happened. We can't construct alternate realities where Rocky Colavito is the third best RF ever. Ultimately your career is your career. Trout was on pace to be the third best cf ever but he got hurt and won't make it.
Nice list. I personally think Puckett is rated too high here. I’d put Beltran and Lofton ahead of him. Probably Richie Ashburn, too, though he doesn’t have a lot of caché. (Probably because he played in the same league as Duke Snider and Willie Mays.)
I agree with Trout at #4, but I think ultimately we will all agree Speaker had the better career.
